I believe it's supposed to be right there on site, in one of the office buildings.

Some updates from the SF Chronicle:
  • Construction is 25% done
  • Excavated 300,000 cubic yards of dirt, going down 25 feet
  • More than 1,300 piles, some to bedrock, some not
  • 10,000 tons of steel are being shipped from Salt Lake City to Sacramento and will start arriving on site by late November

Gatehouse?

There will be two office buildings on the site along 3rd St. (seen below). Presumably the Warriors hope to collect a little rent. Are those what you mean?

I still don't know what you mean by "gatehouse"? Apparently it's that small structure between the office buildings. Right?

Yep. I am also pretty sure that Uber has already reserved all of the office space.

Large steel erection commencing on site. Plus a new webcam perspective high above the activity with the basketball floor outline becoming apparent (# 6). Two new webcams views are also expected in the near future. This site is raging with progress and the next several months should see the overall arena height top out with the heavy steel assembly. Exciting times!

report that, perhaps as early as this fall, the Muni platform barely visible on the right in that photo will be demolished and replaced by a center platform, if I am understanding correctly. edit: and I am not sure I am. there was some confusion over this when we discussed it around post #225 (on page 12) of this thread, too, with sfgate saying there would be a center platform, but the EIR doc saying one of the side platforms (the one on the left in the photo above) would be extended.

edit again: and the image accompanying this article does not show a center platform

here is the current configuration of Muni T-line boarding platforms, looking north down Third from between South St and 16th (the arena site is mostly out of the pic to the right, over the green fence):

the question is whether there will be a new, center-boarding platform constructed about where this photo is taken from (which I think is what the most recent article is saying), or whether the platform in the distance will be extended (which is what the original EIR doc indicated)
