The former Loretto School for Girls

We have a thread about the Good Shepherd development that's being constructed, but I'm wondering if anyone has any photos of what was there previously, the block bounded by Ray and King.

I don't have any photo's, but I do remember the place. It was a nice looking building that sat at the back of the property. The front area along King was used as a sports field.

Try the site below. It contains a history of the Loretto Academy and some old photo's.

bigguy1231: Thanks. I'd taken a look at that document previously. Some great stuff in there.

Guess I need to pay a visit to the Local History room at the HPL.

Cheers.
