Personal, it wouldn't affect me, but just throwing it out there as a plausible reason why the lights on the crown of these bldgs are purposely kept low.
I honestly don't think the particular LED tech/equipment that replaced the old lights has the ability to yield much/any more brightness.

^ Click the embed codes tab near the bottom then copy the BBcode

Edit: No, wait, they give you a tiny image that way. If you right click on the main image and choose "view image" from your dropdown menu you can then copy the url from your bar.

Edit again: orange and yellowgreen shirts inside on the right. Couple of guys having a chat by the pool.

Loving this building, but that wall.... I'm beating a dead horse, but it is so prominent from Vine Street Expressway westbound before it goes below street level.

Hopefully they're open to doing a mural here.

They first started digging the foundation back in the Summer of 2015. It looks like the grand opening will be Summer of 2020. Almost 5 Full Years construction timeline. That's a looonnnggg time.

Contrast that with the Empire State Building. Excavation began Jan 22, 1930; the building officially opened May 1st, 1931.

How can this project make any money? If the loan was disbursed, the payments starts and no revenues generated because of this 5 year timeline. Nuts!

I was thinking the same thing - the depression made a ton of cheap labor available - they probably had hundreds of workers on site each day.

I know they ran into foundational stuff early on - but this building was topped out around September 2018. Almost 2 full years after topping out before opening does seem excessive.

I wish they add semi-glossy black panels at the crown. The current look seems to give the impression it is unfinished or some kind of roof felt paper. Doesn't look polish in my eyes.
