I love this spontaneous Sharks/Vegas rivalry that's sprung up. Probably more heated than any O6 or other rivalry right now.

The league tried to manufacture the battle of the desert between Arizona and Vegas, but one good playoff series can be all it takes to set off a decades-long rivalry ie. Detroit and Colorado.

Was fortunate enough to be at the Habs/Leafs game tonight.

What an epic game. They always seem to go down to the wire. Go Habs.

4-1 lead in the third is a cursed score for Toronto.

Did he just pass Lucic's goal total from last season?

Jets won in Pittsburgh (4-1) for the first time since 2006. They don't have a single one of last season's six regular defencemen at the moment, either. Quite a statement game and they end up the season-opening road trip to New York and Pittsburgh 2-2 ... happy with that in the circumstances.

Well, that was quick - it appears that the Oilers did indeed win the Neal trade. 4 fucking goals? Where was that when he played with the Flames?

Lucic gets team fired up after we go down 3-0 with a timely fight. Spurs comeback 3-3 going in to OT. That’s what we expect from him coming in here. But fuck Neal that POS!

Edit: quick loss in ot though, fuck!

Don't go jinxing anything...one game at a time

That was epic tho. A woman on Sobey score and win took home a cool 100,000 because of Neils 4 goals. 5 goals by Neil would have netted her a cool million.

Still don't get why Calgary sent Neal to Edmonton to play with McDavid, this is pretty much what everyone expected. Lucic has some penalties, so that's something I guess.

Lucic looks like an AHL call up goon, his game does not look to have improved over the off season at all.
So he's now a 6million dollar spark plug?

I still don't understand how this trade happened, but bless you Calgary.

Looks like Calgary will get that conditional pick lol. Should have negotiated a 2nd round instead of a 3rd.
