Some awesome looking cities. I Birmingham's mix of modern and old density. When did MODIS come off the building in Jacksonville? I liked that sign.

A view of Nashville from a few miles to the north by Newschannel5's copter which was captured and posted by a contributor on the UP site.

It illustrates the hilly nature of that part of the City which does not support dense development. Most of the population is in other, smaller areas and is more dense than official census numbers would indicate.

An excellent view of Nashville's Midtown toward the Music Row Roundabout.

The 14 story, Virgin Hotel (mid picture) and 15 story Hyatt Place (upper right about 6 blocks away) will break ground soon and add to the impressive urban density of this unique area.

Even thou this is an old image. it shows the beauty and size of Miami's Skyline. It has grown more, in density and height since this picture was taken.

An enhanced version of ariesjows cam shot on the Nashville development page.

Photobucket issues!!!

Take this photo three years from now and you should see at least 12 more buildings from 14 to 40 stories.

Nashville is really starting to fill in.

What are they going to do with the traffic though? It was really bad when I was last there. Any plans to expand the freeway capacity with light rail lines?

Freeways, not so much. But there is a $6 billion plan in the works to add light rail, trolley and Bus Rapid Transit. It will be up for a referendum in May 2018.

For a city (and metro) it's size, Shreveport has a more than decent skyline.
