That is one ugly tower. Doesn't look good from any angle. Do people like this thing regardless of the height?

You would think someone wirh a troll account would come up with something better. This is just bad on so many levels. Why waste 1 of 2 posts on this?

alright -- so it look like they are at the emr/mech level -- and working on the mass damper level -- does that look right?

if so, that means counting from above the mass damper section -- there are 4 more small setbacks and 170.5' (52m) of crown to go.

This is what I got based on the setbacks I counted: about 1305'

^ I've said it before, but we're getting 3 towers of 1400 ft or more close to topping out. Good times.

I remember I used to hate on this thing lol, for no good reason tbh. But this thing is undeniably impressive, and probably my new favorite tower in the city. It is so NYC, with its height to width ratio, setbacks, and AMAZING art deco terracotta details. personally love the view from Central Park, very Gotham! Congrats guys

Well, not everyone is gonna love it, that's for sure (nothing is loved by everyone). But the obvious trollism has to be called out.

Anyway, I was always in love with this tower, and the crown is making me love it even more (if that's possible).

Liking or not the design of this supertall structure is a subjective matter. I tend to love and admire New York City’s new engineering jewel. Besides the architecture, let us not forget that this particular tower takes extreme engineering to another level. I hold my breath in awe.

^ Like I said, not everyone will like everything. Some like it. Some don't. But our skyline is booming.

wow, this building is just an absolute stunner. an instant classic in the study of architecture. not many buildings ever do that when built.
