AUSTIN | Hanover Brazos Street | 513 FEET | 45 Floors

Didn't botch the title this time

This is a proposal that's been around since early this year, but there hasn't been proper renderings until now. This is very similar to Hanover Republic Square, also in Austin and currently under construction.

I'm happy with this one. Good height, hiding a couple of ugly infill hotels, and the detail throughout is good, too. This is the proper way to wrap a garage.

I like how that metal mesh over the garage levels complements the brick at street level.

This also got a 2 foot height bump from 511 feet to 513 feet according to the site plan that was posted again to the AULCC page this week.

500 feet on our skyline is starting to look short...some screenshots I grabbed from my Google Earth model. This is modeled at 511 feet before the slight bump in height.

This one will be breaking ground soon. More than 3 dozen permits were filed last week for finish outs, as well as right of way permits, and today the tower crane plan was posted. Once this one breaks ground, that will be 6 towers over 500 feet under construction - including the 848 foot 6 X Guadalupe.

Quick transition from demo to site prep.

Whats up with all these gross parking podiums in Austin? They cant bury the parking underground? I count 9 floors dedicated to parking.

That might be one of the better Austin skyline shots I've seen. Love that angle.

That Hampton Inn pool over the parking garage is the saddest rooftop pool I've seen.
