Need a new type of fabric invented that can hold an elephant on it? Do you just want to look at modern architecture? Or do you just want to feel safe? Then head over to the SinTec Building! The SinTec Building is home to SinTec Industries, which specializes in the development of synthetic fibers.

In 2007 the company moved into it's new headquarters building in Puerto Del Pacifico. The building maximizes space by creating column-less floors with small cores. The building is surrounded in steel framing which makes up for the small core and lost columns. This makes it one of the most flexible buildings in the city and one of the most earthquake resistant skyscrapers in the country!

The building consists of 2 towers. The East [/\]and West [X] wings. The West Wing is the biggest one while the East Wing is smaller. Between both wings is an atrium reaching 40 floors making it one of the tallest in the country. The SinTec Building shares the block with the Empire Towers.

Is it built using the companies products?

I like the effect around the sign and the top of the east wing there. It does look real

Awesome! Every building in this city is beautiful and landmark quality. I wonder how would it look, if you added few ugly buildings just to make these jewels stand out even more...

Thanks!

I plan on adding ugly buildings on the West part of the city, which will be mostly residential. The reason why these buildings are modern and whatnot is because this is the "classy" side of the city. You know, right people, with their good jobs, and their nice cars, and their nice parties, and they're very very exclusive...

Anyways, but I'll make less shiny buildings later on.

What a funny fantasy, the fiction "history" on the 1st page, makes me laugh.

Nice work of lot of hours on Sketchup!

Godddddddd Aleks I worship your work! Another amazing update, I really like the towers, not too crazy about both having different patterns, I think it would look better if they were twins but then again the way you have it now is much more creative.

Thanks Pat, I actually didn't like the different patterns either. I wanted to make the thinner tower plain with no cross-beams but it looked too much like a 1970's box without them. I'm okayy with the building but it's not my favorite work.

Really really bad rendering but whatev. I've been slacking lately with sketchup. I'm more interested in houses and single skyscrapers. I started working on a house but I realized it was too big, like over 2,000 sq feet big. Houses in Seattle are like 1,500 on average, if not smaller. And that includes a garage! The house I'm modeling doesn't even have a garage!

Anyways, I'm into making houses that have small foorprints and have good environment stuffs... umm.. like placing the kitchen and bathrooms next to each other and on top to use less piping, wiring, etc... Making large windows for more light, adding solar panels, making green roofs, using recycled materials for flooring, countertops, cabinets. Using energy efficient appliances, blah blah blah.

Anyways, here's my crappy rendering:
