Why dosnt Gotham get its own Island? BUT Still, Its in California, Gotham? Shouldnt it be named like Los Angeles or San Diego?

I want Gotham to be close to Hollywood.
so i could seem like if Hollywood chose Gotham as a location for the Movie "batman" or show. You know what i mean?
if gotham gets its own island, i would have to make it because the only island in SC is Catalina island

I really think you should change the name if you want this city in that location. Sorry to bring up that debate again, but I'm sure I speak for some of you. I also think you should move it further away from LA. Kinda close in my opinion.

I agree, especially since there is already Oceanside, Palm Dunes, and Sun City, as well as LA and San Diego in the SoCal area, unless you want to put it in a totally different Sketchup city universe.
You just cant have a large East Coast Styled City, On the West Coast, In Southern California, inside another Major City, it just dosnt make any sence at all.
If you want to keep it on the West Coast, I suggest moving up torwards Northern California, for Example, San Francisco has a good amount of 1930's buildings.
But I strongly reccomend a Island, you dont have to put it on an already existing island, such as Catalina Island, Whats wrong with putting it on its own island?
