Yes, thanks for educating the rest of us on Kuala Lumpur. Out of curiosity I just looked up how many 300m+ skyscrapers the city has, including under-construction ones: eleven as of Aug 2020. That's some astounding growth.

The exterior lift at Merdeka118 tower has a full-height glass panel of the high speed double decker elevators for people to enjoy the view outside as they go up. Plus, it would only take 65 seconds to get from the ground to the top.

It has significance as the site of the formal declaration of independence of the Federation of Malaya on 31 August 1957 from British.
