Too bad it’s not the one on the left

The rendering looks awful, but if they use good materials and handle the brickwork correctly, there is hope

Yeah, totally. The one on the left looks cool but the one they are hopefully about to build, the right, looks not good. Yeah if they use good materials then maybe there's hope. Maybe it's a rare time the finished product looks better than a rendering. I'd be shocked though - highly doubt that will happen.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the brick design, it does look a little two-dimensional and flat in renderings, but some of the close-ups show some elaborate brick details around the windows.

As of this morning, it's still business as usual with regard to the construction industry. There are no major work stoppages on any of my projects.

I’m sure it’s been discussed here before so apologies in advance, but why exactly is the MDA City Club 2.0 so small at 6 floors?

Planned development with the larger building behind it at 73 E. Lake Street. They only had so much density left to use without trying to modify the PD.

I don't live in Chicago anymore. Come home 2 times a year but never go near Navy Pier. Is that whole building/hotel new? I don't recall that building at all or hearing about it being built etc
