This looks to be across from Lenox Mall. If I remember correctly, GeorgiaPeanuts mentioned someone was seeking some type of zoning/property consolidation in this area.

Wow! That would've been really cool. If I remember correctly, that was what the W Hotel wanted to do initially, but Firestone Tires would not sell their property. W Hotel ended up converting the Hotel where W Buckhead now stands. This is definitely a cool tower.

I think Crescent Communities is developing the site (around Firestone) with a hotel and apartment tower in mind.
Driving into work today, I saw a very small portion of the AMLI Arts Center property barricaded off, along with a small tractor and a handful (maybe 3) workers.

There also was a lot consolidation filed for the two restaurants on the corner of Lenox and East Paces so something likely to be proposed there as well.
So that building proposed at peachtree and third scheduled to go before midtown DRC today, is that the same lot that had a proposal fall through a year or so ago?
