Steve Cuozzo in his Realty Check column last Tuesday, August 3rd, reported on the still static nature of what's happening with 250 West 55th Street, and the lack of movement at the future Marriott site at the other end of West 54th Street.
He also reported that Moinian is looking for a partner to build a 400-room boutique hotel at 237 West 54th Street -- which would put it directly next to the Marriott. What's going on here? Is he trying to undercut the other hotel? And considering the financial troubles he has had of late, is any other realtor likely to want to be his partner?
I'm betting eventually he'll sell the building. In the meantime, here's a link to the post column:
