While these might not be the ugliest buildings in the world, they all stand in highly visible locations within the Lower Manhattan skyline. Considering Lower Manhattan has one of the most excellent collections of skyscrapers in the world, it blows my mind away that the architects and developers of these buildings were comfortable with adding these eyesores to one of the world's most beautiful skylines.

The worst part is you can't hide from this thing. It towers over Civic Center park, the WTC Memorial, and is completely visible from the north, east, and west.
