Really close but add a ear-shattering, high-pitched, metal-on-metal voice that can make your teeth fillings pop out.

Her name is Shelley but she spells it Shelie.....That alone makes me want to punch her in the head.

I have seen a child with a name pronounced the same way as mine. I am Michael and his name was Mycol. I've also see Micheal (spelling people!), Mykel, and Michal.

I come from a city where people are named Jakko, Virpi and Mirko, so to see a Mykul doesn't really surprise me much.

The difference being odd names versus odd spellings of a common name. Abcde is a unique name, but Rye-n or Wryin for Ryan would make me question the parents' intelligence.

Well, it happened....I finally had the conversation with my mother I never thought I would have.....

*phone rings*

Me: "Hello"

Mom: "Hi, it's just your mom, I was wondering, does your partial sometimes slip?"

Me: "Uhh, sometimes, it depends on what I'm eating."

Mom: "Well, I just tried Polygrip™ for partials and it's heaven! I can eat caramels again."

Me: "Is it sticky or smelly?"

Mom: "No, you hardly know its there, I love it and it's so inexpensive"

Me: "Sounds great, I'll try it."

Mom: "Well, I just thought I would tell you."

Me: "OK, thanks. Talk to you later."

Mom" "Tell me what you think. Bye."

Hangs up phone............."I think I'll kill myself now."

After hitting 30, receiving drunk texts is no fun on a work-night. Here's hoping that I don't have to pick someone up from the bar/jail and that it doesn't go on too late.

And yes, I made the mistake of responding

I don't want to hear about drunks! My only co-worker in my VERY under staffed department at work just texted me to say he's recieved yet another OWI and wrecked his car (he hit another car) He now has no car, no license and lives in a town 20 miles away and will proably go to jail. Not that I care about him because now, I'm fucked.....THANK YOU JESUS!!

I guess the dumbass decided to unemploy himself just before the Holidays? His wife and kids must be sooo happy! Well, it sound like he at least didn't kill anyone.

And it's crunch time for Christmas. I'm sure that you'll be a holiday joy now that you'll have to do double the work. In fact, I predict that at work just before Christmas, you will look as follows:

rock, if you had good Karma, the other car he hit would have had your supervisor (beeitch) driving it drunk.
