New dates for the crane to go up are 12/12 - 12/15.

Any idea what the delay for this one is? Seems like that’s the second or third time the crane had been pushed back.

Could simply be pure construction congestion. I walked down Rainey St last weekend and it was lined with 8+ large dirt haulers waiting to be filled at the Waterline site on RR. Cars traveling north on Rainey that day had no hope of going anywhere. So maybe they are waiting for that to be done to put up the cranes since it would surely require closing a section of Rainey at Davis St.

Oops. They must’ve messed something up with the crane base as it has been removed and the foundation for it demoed as well.

Hopefully that’s all that’s the matter and not something more.

Such a small foot print in a monster of a neighborhood.

The progression of height in the hood and foot print size is amazing! From derelict homes to squat multi lot nothings, to tall point towers to large development Super Talls, Rainey has it all.

Crazy what is happening there. I passed up an opportunity to buy a house/lot in the middle of Rainey Street in 2008 for $550K. It's now Icenhauer's.

A new crane base is in place and visible from the webcam. Crane goes up mid December.

Crane is going up as (re)scheduled. It can be seen on the webcam despite the low visibility.

Nice angle! Glad to see this one finally making progress. With such a small footprint it should move quickly.
