so I noticed something interesting when I went by it last night - the structure they put at the top of the facade to hold the new cornice is also repeated at the top of the first jut-out of the condo above it - are they going to put a cornice on the top of the condo? Because that would be very interesting - I don't think I've ever seen a cornice on the top of a condo..
hmm looking back at the plans it looks like it might just be a solid colour panel finish at the top.. hard to tell what the cornice above the facade will look like from what the plans show.. hope they don't cheap out.. it'd be nice to restore the original facade look:

also note that elevation drop on the building to the left of it used to have dormer elements on top of it - I can only assume they were artificial just for the look. I also like the awnings - I hope they don't opt out of all of them - the one they restored on king william looks amazing
