Nice updates! Glad to see Tulsa join the conversation. Personally I think it’s the best city in Oklahoma, it reminded of Austin but just on a smaller scale. Lots of trees!
Really like some of the proposals. Looks like there's plenty of room for infill. No doubt that will happen.. Have they ever thought about decking over the railroad?

Not that I'm aware of. There has been talk about burying the north leg of the IDL (the highway that surrounds downtown) or decking the south leg, since it is already below grade.
OKPOP Museum - New Oklahoma pop culture museum set to break ground this coming week (Oct. 23rd). Located on North Main Street across from Cain's Ballroom.
Bob Dylan Center - The George Kaiser Family Foundation purchased the Bob Dylan archives a few years back and intend to house the collection in a new museum in the Tulsa Art's District set to open in 2021. The lead architecture firm selected for this is Olson Kundig, a Seattle architectural firm who is responsible for the Space Needle's recent remodel.
The first phase of this development - a Hotel Indigo - was completed either late 2018 or early 2019. They did a really nice job. Here's some pics I found from Orbitz.com.
Some additional renderings of Santa Fe Square, a redevelopment of two city blocks in downtown Tulsa. The hotel portion is complete, the next phases are the office building and residential/mixed-use
Another office building is planned for the Greenwood District around ONEOK Field (Tulsa's minor league ballpark): GreenArch II
in addition to the Vast Bank building that is now almost complete on the other side of the ballpark (with The View apartments now under construction overlooking the ballpark on the other side of Archer):
Infill development near the University of Tulsa (2 miles from downtown)
Down by the Gathering Place there is a $50M Children's Museum planned that will start construction in 2020 as part of Phase 2 of the $465M park
and a new pedestrian bridge across the Arkansas River with a whitewater flume/rapids
The Cosmopolitan apartments along the river, almost finished now
Nevertheless nice additions! Is that round needle looking building apartments? Looks interesting!
Correct it is an apartment tower. Located in Riverview which is the neighborhood directly south of downtown. Think Capitol Hill in Denver, a mix of older early century mansions and highrises mostly built in the 60's and 70's with some new developments closer to the river like The Cosmopolitan.
Another view from earlier this summer when the Arkansas River was at flood stage. The popular Blue Rose Cafe is on the waterfront on the lower right side

Recently renovated building that used to be the home of the CBS affiliate (KOTV). I believe there is a spa that recently occupied a portion of this building. Former KOTV station by tshane250, on Flick
Thanks for all these great photos.
I rarely get up to Tulsa... but I ought to.
Love hearing about what's going on there.
I do remember reading about Tulsa being the "winning" (so to speak) location for the Bob Dylan archives -- several years ago when it was announced.
I think that could be a big deal (tourism wise).

The Bob Dylan archive will be in a new building that is currently being designed by Olson Kundig Architects. It will replace a surface parking lot next to the Hardesty Arts Center (AHHA) and Philbrook Downtown contemporary art museums and the Woody Guthrie Center.
The OKPOP Museum broke ground today and is three blocks from the above museums across the street from the historic Cain's Ballroom, one of the top music venues in the country
Wow really impressed with Tulsa, love the arts district photos and again all the trees. Looks like the city has real character. Keep up the updates on Tulsa!
That $400 million park is incredible! It's not often that cities of around 1 million get to REALLY tout something as world-class, but Tulsa can lay legitimate claim to that with this impressive park.

Yeah, it's an impressive park! Here are some pictures I took from there last year.

Here are a few pictures of the progress being made on the Cosmopolitan apartments. I took these pictures in September from the River Parks trails. Unfortunately, it was getting hot and I was getting tired, so I wasn't able to get pics from all sides.
Route 66 Corridor - The current and historical alignments of Route 66 have been seeing lots of new investment and signage over the past few years. Here's some highlights.
Gateway Signs. There are at least two of these signs as you enter into Tulsa from the east and the west.
Neon signs are popping up all along the corridor. The Meadow Gold sign was relocated to this spot several years ago.
The 11th Street corridor between Peoria and Harvard has been seeing the most redevelopment.
There's even some kitsch along the corridor ;-) - Buck Atom
Mother Road Market - A food hall located just south of 11th Street on Lewis Ave.
