Vancouver has an amazing Rocky Mountain setting. This city is just perfect.

Those are the Coastal Mountains. Vancity, and southwestern BC in general, isn't anywhere near the Rockies.

Wow! Excellent shots. Probably the best Vancouver photos I've seen. Great job!

Pardon my ignorance, but why is everyone in Vancouver looking for John Belushi?

Vancouver is so beautiful, and your shots capture so many unique angles of it. A great combination!

for every annoying expat BCer potluck i've been to, and even considering how quiet 2am felt there - i have a grudging respect for vancouver. it's a working city, underneath all those condos...a steel-veined port.

Yeah, Vancouver is really becoming a nice largish North American city. I find each time I go back I have less and less to complain about. Ridiculous red tape attached to everything not included. It does make for a more interesting black market I suppose.

salaverryo, John Belushi refers to the coke/heroin mix of the same name. It's in reference to Vancouver's drug scene.

Thanks for peeping this thread, everyone.

A fine, eclectic mess of tranquility you've created for yourself. Sure, you'd been holding J. Belushi captive for those first years, but eventually he stayed around on his own free-will: he did it for your photos...and the for the honey. Mmmm...honey.
