Fancy floral ornaments at one of the buildings on Ocean Prospect, definately something to drool for if you are a big history junky. More of the bas-relief goodness below the fold:

A stone gryphon guarding the 19th century court building.
Red brick houses line up along the waterfront on the Oceanski Prospect
(Ocean Avenue)
A street scene at the intersection of the Sevtlanskaya and Aleutskaya streets. All that is lacking here is a sparkling canal and some gondola guys... or just some greenery, perhaps...

St. Paul's Lutheran church
Lutheran church. Detail.
Armenian Apostolic church(circa 1909).
Inspite of the popular beliefe, the Church has much more in common with the
Latin rite, than the
Eastern Orthodox Churches. For example, their bishops wear
mitres almost identical to those of Western bishops. They usually do not use a full
iconostasis, but rather a curtain (which was also used in the West at the time of separation).
An old trampy tram dragging itself down the Aleutskaya St. San Francisco anyone?
A more peculiar looking tram
Hey, there is a military band playing inside!
Port scene and a fresh load of not-so-fresh Japanese second hand automobiles. Some of them will end up here in Vladivostok, while others will head up to numerous car markets in Western Siberia.
A view of the old town from the docks with some new residential development going up on the top of the scenic hills.
New condo development on Cape Churkin
Vladivostok's very own steel naval personell
C-56 is the Red Army submarine. Apart from the fact it looks very cool, I know nothing about the underwater sailing. I'll leave you to fill in the rest:
