No photo but I did notice Opal Ridge Road is well underway near Portland Street including the AT greenway. I'm guessing the adjacent 12-storey buildings will break ground once winter subsides.

A development permit has been submitted for this site;

189 OPALRIDGE DRIVE - $12.8 M - 176 Units - 6 Floors - Residential & Commercial - Care Use

This is directly behind Sobeys on Block 'A'. The care use indicates this will likely be a senior's facility.

Foundation work is starting on one of the senior's buildings. The buried utilities along the street is a nice touch.

There is a third building of 7-storeys that will start construction soon. Also the smaller street has been named Morado Drive.

Apparently Block "G" (15 Morado Lane) is under construction and the crane was installed last week.

A quick scan through my map gives me 36 currently. The number changes often.

That is impressive. Felt like almost 20 years where this number was 0 or 1, rarely 2.
