The new skyscrapers like the Shard are amazing but I still have a soft spot for the Telecom Tower. It still holds its own in the futuristic stakes - not bad for something that went up in 1965. Pity you didn't get some night shots of that too. Great photos though - pro quality.

London definitely has to be a contender for the greatest city on earth. It has everything - it's huge, it's has history (the Celts had a settlement there long before the Romans arrived) and it has cutting edge design. I can't really think of any other city with so many diverse icons. Royalty, the ceremonial guards, castles, skyscrapers, world renown shops, museums and galleries, it's the home of many famous stars, beefeaters, Big Ben, the tube, Jack the Ripper, Abbey Road studios, Carnaby Street, Wembley stadium - it's certainly hard to beat.
