We do seem to be getting longer periods of high wind days. Those were usually reserved for the afternoon of hot days. Now we also see t6hunder storms on cold days.
I dont think my AC has kicked in yet this year and its mid June. Its actually a nice change having the cooler weather after everything we went through last year.

Going to see a high of 22c and sunshine today.

Yes much of B.C. seems cooler than preceding years. In Vancouver the snow is just disappearing from the top of Cypress and Grouse Mountains, pretty much as it used to do in the old days.

20C with a humidex of 22 and cloudy until about 2PM when it cleared up.

Low of 14C this morning.

The warmspot was Windsor, ON at 28.8C

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 16.0C

Models are showing a monster heatwave next week. I looked at the forecasted dewpoint on 2 models. Seeing a small purple dot (80F or 26.7C) south of Montreal next Wednesday. The other model has the same colored area but over Niagara instead. No matter if we reach those values or not, it will be HOT!!!

High of 32 today with strong storms due to roll in this afternoon/evening in Windsor.

As a fan of the heat... the next week and a half looks nice.
Flirting with record highs on Monday and Tuesday calling for 33 and 34 degrees respectfully. Humidex numbers in the mid 40s.

Friday through the weekend looks absolutely perfect.
26 and sunny
25 and sunny
30 and sunny

Last summer we had no consecutive 30 degree days. We have a week straight coming.

Next week will be too hot, low to mid 30's and super muggy for five days in a row, possibly up to 36 or 37. Lows in the 20's, so there will be no relief. SW Ontario could see ten days in a row with highs over 30 and lows over 20. People without AC will suffer.

We haven't had a big heat wave like this in a few years

Rare Thursday photos from me. Nice day, moments of sunshine and cloud cover. Threat of severe thunderstorms later on in the day.

We hit 30C today (35 with humidity) , sunshine. We had some storms this evening. Cooler and sunny for Fri-Sun with highs of 22-24C.

Massive heatwave rolls in next week from Mon-Fri with highs of 32-36C , feeling like 40-45C with humidity.

28C with a humidex of 32 and mainly sunny.

Low of 14C this morning.

The warmspot was Harrow, ON at 32.1C

Warmest low was Point Pelee, ON at 20.9C. Would be the first tropical low if it holds.

Dam that's a big ridge over the northeast US next week. 600dam contours at 500mb only occur with extreme heat waves. Euro model may be overdone slightly.

Let's see if those temperature are still in the forecast in a few days.

Beautiful day yesterday, high of 28.7 and low of 19.5. Thunderstorms split up and missed us last night.

I like hot weather, but the forecast is brutal. This level of heat and humidity is dangerous
