Just wondering if they are going to paint the antenna with anything, or is it already galavnized steel protecting it from the elements? Hard to believe they would not cover it with anything at all, unless the pre-fabricated sections are already coated in something?

What date will this building officially open? What date will the observation deck officially open? It took 6 years to complete 1wtc & 4wtc, not bad! It will probably take another 3-4 years to build 2wtc & 3wtc, considering their foundations are fully complete. So around 2020 everything should look normal and settled in and we can enjoy, work, live and play in downtown nyc as intended.

Great photos taken from bad neighborhoods, Sunset is in the NY Post daily blotter everyday, 1 WTC is on SSP everyday.

The color of the spire is pretty dull. How will it be illuminated? Are there going to be lights shining up on it from the roof?

You're welcome. Next time you have trouble posting a pic just right click on the pic, then select "Inspect element". A window will pop up on the bottom with some info --> you'll find the .jpg file there. Then just C&P the URL.
