I'm assuming they won't have time to switch the design from what's already been planned if they are continuing construction. It will likely look the same as if it was built as condos (true design or bait-and-switch).
Looking at SoHo Italia, or even Loop to a certain extent, these CHMC deals don't seem to negatively effect the final product.

Google maps is showing it as ~33 minute walk to 240 Sparks. That's a good length walk to incorporate into one's fitness routine.
As well, to bus taking the 11 will take 22 minutes including an 8 minute walking component. The LRT is faster at 14 minutes but that includes 10 minutes of walking (using the 'bleak' route.) Both those are 'star-aligning' times.
To me that looks like a good distance, far enough away from downtown to not be held hostage by the weekly (or worse) demonstrations, but close enough to be able to walk it when the weather makes it a pleasant way to get fresh air, clear one's mind, and exercise.

Far closer than I thought, honestly.
Using the O-Train, worse case scenario, it could take up to 19 minutes if the person just missed the last train. Day time hours, of course. If you're coming back from Elgin or the Market after a night out, it could add 15 minutes to the trip, tops.
The 11 though, chances are the bus won't show up.
