Yes, most of my image dumps are from a drone. I'm only posting pictures on Skyrise Ottawa indefinitely. I'm totally done with image linking on SSP.

Spoke to the city guy on site, said the trailers (C-cans) are supposed to be on site by End of week.

Do we know for sure that both are going up at the same time? If so, this may be the biggest single residential project in Ottawa's history (Zibi and LeBreton as a whole being a series of projects over many decades).

Marriot Renaissance is half apartments and is starting while Releve is still being built, and it's all part of one masterplan, so that's another contender.

Can we take in that building behind in the renders is expected to be just as tall or a bit taller. That is something I am looking forward to!!! (edit: I just realized that could be the 55 floor Claridge building, so it will definitely be taller).

These towers and the Greyhound lot are legit my favourite ones coming up now (and Granite CC). I'm amped for this year and the next!!

I thought the 55 floor Claridge building on the east flat was reduced to 45 some years ago??

They did, but I feel like the new provincial rulings, NCC wanting Lebreton to be built out (and Claridge being part of the ownership group for the Sens), and Mark being in love with developers with get us back to that 55 floor count.

Maybe, but that's before they won the bid to be apart of Sens ownership. Also could be BS to squeeze out an approval later for what they want. This is also the same City that offered them to bump up the Icon instead because it loves unlimited height in this corner for some odd reason lol.

It looks like the diggers are moving their digging arms today.

I also see that fencing has gone up between the site and the north side Albert st sidewalk.

(Would add pics if I could, sadly my view is very narrow between my apartment and the East Flats development nowadays)

So so happy to see this! With this project officially shovel in the ground and the library advancing well, we are officially linking Pimisi station to the rest of downtown. No longer a field of nothing between the west of downtown and Pimisi.

Let's just hope OCH gets moving on the land between Dream and Adisoke. Finish the block. If they start planning today, by the time they get it approved, those construction trailers should be gone.

Personally I'm actually worried about the thought of an OCH dev in between two landmark buildings like these.

They've done some good work on Gladstone. High quality builds. And nowadays, they no longer build social housing only. Their projects are usually a mix of social, affordable and market.
