PS: The article also makes reference to IGF being used by the Bisions and amateur sport.
I think Buchko set himself up, in order to really hype the Blue Bombers he stuck with the false old story line too long. The sports business is now competitive in Winnipeg, the Blue Bombers monopoly on sports dollars here ended with the return of the Jets. Part of the reason Buchko was hired was for his ability to sell, he did it well at the super info-mercial station but translating that to a business where you have to be honest and upfront with your customer is a different story.

I got some tonight, I will have to post them once I get them off camera tomorrow.

Walked all around the site, pretty cool looking now, but it is so much more impressive from a distance as you get the massive size of it.

i find Buchko wholly ridiculous. Watching him wander around at the games with his goofy hair, perma-grin and fake tan, how can anyone take this guy seriously. He could be the poster child for douchebag.

Someone loved sniffing markers and huffing gas as child I think! Either that or your firm lost the design competition for the stadium. Get over yourself.

With a wing span like that, this suckers going to fly.

I can hear it all now;

Football Fan: I paid $5000 for these seats, what do you mean I can't stand up and do the wave?

Aisle Aid: Sir, please remain seated and buckle up while we are in flight.

Tower to Pilot: Can you confirm your height and position?

Pilot to Tower: I'm 5'16 and I'm seated in Section 'S', Seat '13' and I just schite myself. I just saw Jack Wells and Elvis at a thousand feet. Jack was doing a play-by-play and Elvis was singing ' I've got a hunk of burning love...."

The webcam on the bombers site has been down for almost a month and no photo updates. Pathetic.

Great photos - Thanks for those. With the shoring towers still in place for the one canopy, my guess is that the field installation is going to be getting wrapped up pretty late this fall.

Based on the story in the Free Press last week, it looks like it's going to get ugly between the steel subtrade, Stuart Olson Dominion and the BBB stadium group. Not sure how much is related to this project, but Churchill Corp, the parent company to Stuart Olson Dominion, yesterday announced a new President and acting CEO.
