I think it will be. The whole point of the upgrade after Ida is that its newer technology and much easier and cheaper to operate plus its just much better tech. The old one was from 1987. state of the art for its time but not so anymore.

Wow .. MSY is truly becoming a premiere airport. Great things happening there from major renovations and additions- to new flights being added ( both domestically and internationally).

Mid-City Pizza

From the article:

He’s brought some New York back with him to Mid-City Pizza, and that includes the water. This is now one of several local pizzerias staking claim to New York City water in its New York-style pies. Here, that’s done with a reverse osmosis system set up to adjust the incoming local tap water to pH levels and magnesium and calcium content to mimic that flowing from the Big Apple’s taps.

That's my family business... Torres Water Company. We worked with Tony for like 6 months getting to the NYC water profile and we got there. Pretty cool to see them mention that... wished they would have dropped our name lol. Heard nothing but great things about the pizza and Tony is a great dude.

Work on the hotel conversion of the old archdiocese building on Howard Ave seems to have stopped. I haven't seen workers on site in several months.

Article references that Millennium Properties' development in the Lower Garden District was awarded money. Is that the river district?

One Stop app shows that the demo permit was issued for the interior but the renovation permit has not been approved yet. So not sure why but they arent permitted to renovate at this time.

Man - the Pythian just can’t seem to catch a break. For the sake of the renters; I hope they find a buyer. Anyways-how’s Five O’ Fore progressing; it seems to have gotten a head start over Top Golf. Also haven’t heard a peep from the Bayou Phoenix folks since they signed the lease for the old Six Flags site.
