I worked from home yesterday afternoon but had to go back to the office because the boss couldn't.be bothered to take her laptop case up to her office. She wanted me to do it for her.

This morning, I bought two travelling jugs full of coffee from Starbucks and according to her, that wasn't enough for 16 people.

This job is going to kill me, but since I'm an asshole, I deserve it. No, I'm not posting this from a work computer

^ It sounds like you have a horrendous boss. It's too bad that the economy is so bad right now and employers know they can get away with that crap. Let me guess she's probably a baby boomer too!

Doesn't stop me from continuing to try to be the perfect employee, though.

It sounds like your boss and my boss (another psycho bitch) should get in the ring with razor knives and fight to the death....both of theirs.
My boss keeps getting fatter while I wither away to nothing. As I mentioned before she has a voice that's equivalent to biting into foil and having it hit a filling, her ass is as wide as a billboard, she knows nothing about her job but thinks she does (which is very dangerous), she has a laugh that makes my hair fall out and most adults, dogs and children run when they hear her rumbling, Godzilla sounding footfalls coming towards them.
She's not a baby boomer, she's at least 20 years younger than me.

The worst part is I like (or at least LIKED) my job until she showed her big fat face two years ago. I've just been biting my tongue, waiting for her to get fired for doing something stupid which is a daily thing, but....nothing! I know everybody hates her but nobody will fire the bitch.

Black and mostly-black cats are free at the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave.; Geauga Humane Society, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Russell Township; Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Mentor; Medina Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 245 South Medina St.; Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg; and the Public Animal Welfare Society of Ohio, which will be at the Cleveland APL.
A second cat or kitten of any hue is $20. All are neutered and vaccinated.

I am kinda tired of Detroit photo threads with the usual pictures of a burned abandoned house, tires in a field, a field, and an abandoned factory. Then these forumers come out like crackhead cockroaches who think they are soooo damn clever by calling detroit ghetto, abandoned, etc.

I agree, but I'm even more sick of photographers (and moderators) getting their panties all in a twist when those threads turn into a debate/discussion about Detroit or a criticism of their shot selection. I know this is a friendly place for people to share their photos, but isn't good art SUPPOSED to stimulate discussion and controversy? And really, how do they expect people to react when they showcase 19 shots of abandoned buildings and empty fields while neglecting dense, intact, and vibrant urban fabric just blocks away?

I get it if you want to photograph urban decay. It's a powerful (if a little bit tired) technique for instilling an emotional response in the viewer. It's chock full of social statements and challenges to the status quo. Just don't try to represent it as documentation of everything Detroit (or any other city) has to offer.

Andrew, you could always get out your camera and take photos of the Detroit you see on a weekly basis
