It's an office building (Hycroft Centre) with an MRI Clinic now being staffed by St Paul's Hospital to cut wait times for outpatients. Maybe it's a heavy equipment / a/c crane lift?

Maxum seems like they only deal with mobile cranes so I guess it is just an equipment lift.

Yep it's up as seen in my pic below. There are also two cranes up on Oak but I'm not entirely sure what projects they're for yet. Also the first crane for Ashley Mar went up today. A total of 4 cranes in the Marpole area now.

Removed 2 for the Annacis WWTP. Flew over it yesterday and didn't see any cranes. I think that one is done.

They have two cranes for the Timbre & Harmony Project on East 12th

https://brightsidehomes.ca/1425-1451-east-12th-avenue/

And another crane for 1313 East Pender

https://powersearch.jll.com/res/docs...r_11091986.pdf

Couldn't confirm the types while driving so I haven't added them to the spreadsheet.

Assume that Cressey crane in North Vancouver was removed but just switched it to red for now.

Quote:
TRAFFIC ALERT - Esplanade St between Rogers & Semisch Ave is temporarily reduced to one vehicle lane in each direction as crews disassemble and remove a crane starting today, April 17, overnight to April 18. Expect delays.

The spreadsheet has been getting some attention outside of here.

Featured in this Instagram reel on Toronto being No. 1 in North America for crane numbers: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrLTt...on_share_sheet

I find it hard to believe that Vancouver has nearly as many cranes up as Toronto. Maybe he's comparing metro Vancouver to Toronto proper?

Yeah, the large data set he starts with is a general index not really meant for direct comparison and doesn't seem to publicise exactly what area is covered.
