I really wish they stuck with the original renderings for this one in particular. It's located in a such a prominent spot, its a real shame (but not a surprise) that they did the ol'Ottawa bait and switch.

The development will be adding an eastbound cycle track on Montreal Road along their frontage (from North River Road to Montgomery Street).
This render hasn't been posted. I'm still mixed on the project, but that height variation is awesome. This area will look really cool at twilight looking south down the river with Cummings Bridge in the foreground, especially if the 25fl/641 Rideau and Lahey CharcWhite Village East get built.
It's grown on me a little, it's not as bad as I originally thought. I'll take it.
Will be a nice addition for sure. Overall there will be a huge number of higher end rentals coming online in that area between the river and Vanier Parkway. Will really change the demographics of the area and maybe that section of Montreal street will be revived a bit.

For sure, just need to fix up the walkability aspect of Montreal / Vanier.
Looks like phase 2 and 3 got switched out. The next tower will be the 28 story one followed by the 32 story one. Test pits have already been completed for phase 2 and boreholes should be completed very soon.
I haven't heard of a start date for phase 2 but all thats floating around site is before phase 1 is completed.
I just wish they kept the corner-wrapped balconies on every corner. That blank wall on the corner of the middle building in the the new render Harley posted instantly reminds me of all the commie blocks built in the 70s near Lincoln Fields.
