My estimated guess for the names for the stations:

Green Timbers
(Not sure which names are considered for 152 Street, so I’ll give it a pass for now)
Fleetwood (Centre?)
Bakerview
North Cloverdale
East Clayton
Willowbrook
Langley Centre

Coast Meridian?

Fun bit of trivia: Coast Meridian gets it's name from the initial Land Survey of the area which was based on laying out a meridian (north/south) line from the point at which the International Border intersects the coast.

Edit - mea culpa, see below - 152nd was Johnston Road, not Coast Meridian (168th St).

Honestly, based on the Surrey Fleetwood plan, I wouldn't be surprised if the 152nd station was just "West Fleetwood-152nd".

Coast Meridian is a good name, but I'd probably reserve that one for a future Port Coquitlam station. Makes a bit more sense there in my opinion.

Wonder what the 166th station name will be? "East Fleetwood" doesn't really work when it's so close to the centre, and "Surrey Sport & Leisure" is a mouthful.

And as previously said, it's better to reserve that name on a potential future station near a road that still bears that name.

Honestly, if Port Coquitlam's only going to have one station, why not just name it 'Port Coquitlam station'?

I don't know if anyone else is as out of it as me, but I can never remember the where the heck "Coquitlam" ends and "Port Coquitlam" starts. So anything with "Coquitlam" in the name wouldn't be all that useful for me...

Considering that's already the name for the West Coast Express station that's likely what it will be. If the station ends up over Shaughnessy Street I could see "Shaughnessy" being the name for a downtown PoCo Skytrain station. However, that falls to the same argument as not using "Coast Meridian" for Surrey, since at one point in the dark distant future there might be a station in Shaughnessy the neighbourhood in the CoV.

Imo, "Coast Meridian Station" is a good name for the 166th Street Station, it's far enough away from PoCo and the reality of a future "Coast Meridian Station" in PoCo is far off enough that it's unlikely to be an issue any time soon.

Yeah, but my point is "where the heck is downtown Port Coquitlam?" Maybe my idea of it is actually downtown Coquitlam...

I suppose if you need to go to that station then you're probably in the vast majority of folks who know where it is. But for me it's just confusing, just like those highway signs that say "West Vancouver". Are they saying "this road takes you to West Vancouver" or "this westbound road takes you to Vancouver"?

Well, at least West Van appears to have signs. The westbound destination signs through Burnaby and over the Ironworkers are largely for Whistler, with no mention of North Vancouver.

It's a suburb of 61,000. There's a single high rise tower on Shaughnessy, but otherwise a grid of four story or less buildings, like almost any small city in the province. I would be more surprised if you could find a small city without a small downtown.

As for signs, just a tip: if it is a city indication sign, the "west/north/east/south" are part of the city name always. So "West Kelowna" means the city of West Kelowna not west to Kelowna. Directions are typically only given on highway indicators. So like HWY1 East or HWY 5 North. Within cities, typically direction is simply done with an arrow. < or > for example. Like a sign that will say < New Westminster ^ Surrey on it. They would never say North/South etc. This is specifically done that way NOT to be confusing so if you are still confused, I suggest going on the ICBC website and pulling up the signs literature for BC. Knowing how to read signs while driving is kind of important.
