The report basically concludes that due to (1) lack of historical integrity (there's not much of the original adobe building left) and (2) current building integrity issues, they will likely allow the demolition. I get that it's not my money or my building, and it does sounds like there are some legitimate issues with the building, but it's still a shame that consideration of "the building looks cool and looks cooler than whatever EIFS schlock they put up to replace will look" isn't more of a consideration. If/when it goes it will be a loss.
