I know it's not the plan, but I kind of wish they'd leave that lot and turn it into a proper public space. An actual square for Tech Square (the space in front of the Centergy building doesn't cut it in my opinion) with great vistas of the Biltmore.

Whistler is scheduled to be topped off in the next few months, and the crane will come down in December.

Isn't there only like two more floors left on the Whistler? I don't see why it won't top out within the next few weeks.

It's interesting how some buildings get cranes very early in the foundation process while others get them late. Society Atlanta is like 80% done with foundation work, yet it doesn't have a crane.

It will have one very soon. The foundation for and starting piece of the crane is already in place along the southern side of the site.

Any updates on the JPX tower at Spring and 18th? I thought they had announced a ground breaking but wasn't sure if they were actively working on it.

JPX site has been active for over a month now digging and doing foundation work. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this crane in next few weeks in the sky.

Might have to do with location of the crane. The one at Society Atlanta is inside the building, so that part of the foundation had to be done first.

Probably a cost decision as well. I'm sure they're paying less for the mobile one they've been using, so they might as well keep it as long as they have a place to park it without getting in the way of work. That's not always an option depending on the plan and where the curb cuts are.

I drove by it this morning. They're moving dirt and have cut down all of the trees. Not sure if that means anything, but there is def movement.

The Campanile building had some movement this morning also. There were trucks there and it looks like the crane was moving. Again, not sure if that means anything, but I did see people, so...

Any news on Modera Parkside? I would've thought it started by now.
