On the bright side, the fire saved a step in the demolition process. Maybe the project-management point of view has had stress added, though.

Nice to see this rising so quickly.

Saw that there seem to be some metal brackets installed on floor 3 I think. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow on my break.

They seem to be going super fast, like almost fast than a floor per week, on floor 10. Lots of concrete trucks at the site today, oddly they seemed to not be working on Monday or stopped earlier, no idea why:

Assorted questions:

Anyone know or speculate why the 5th tower floor is taller than the rest?

Why the opening at a property line like this?

Probably programming. Perhaps that room is going to be used for some sort of common area for students that require more space.

There will likely be some sort of ventilation louvres there, that's a parking garage afterall.

That will make pretty ineffective ventilation when the concrete wall of the nextdoor tower beginning construction is built right up against it.

Floor 13 almost done. They're still working away next door too, unsure what they're doing still. It's just one guy in an excavator.

It's so weird seeing something there. Been a parking lot for as long as I can remember!

Sounds like the start of a joke: "So, there was a lone guy in an excavator..."

Did they move? I still see a ton of plates with Bay King Motors on them. Unless they still have them from years ago.
