Columbus is still very busy building stuff. I apologize I come infrequently to SSP but I have another forum I have to run (UrbanOhio) so...yeah. The 410ft Ohio State Hospital (tallest building outside of downtown) is coming along and the 361ft Hilton Columbus Tower is damn-near done. There are a billion yuppie boxes (aka 4-7 story residential buildings) going up everywhere, from city to the burbs like this isht going WAAAAAY out in Buckeye Lake...

...and then there's these types of yuppie boxes going up everywhere. Not pleased by them but whatever.
...though this stuff is slightly-better...

...still a box though...

...but this stuff I'm pleased about...
Merchant Tower - 382 feet (u/c this summer)

Hubbard Tower in the Short North - ??? feet but it's nice so whatever

Peninsula Tower in Franklinton - ??? feet but it'll be the tallest residential tower outside of downtown so I'll take it, for now...

This gap-filler called
100 N. High St will finally get rid of annoying gap downtown.

Ohio State has so much money they are building a new fcking campus across from the old campus. Ya know, "
Innovation District" stuff. Probably Google, Intel, and the METAVERSE. It's under-construction now and is insane to watch.

Franklinton (neighborhood) has gone full-on Portland-4-Lyfe with projects left and right that are "sustainable" and "eco-friendly" and "hipster artisanal chicken."
Gravity Phase III is an example of what's going on over there:

AND PARKS! Columbus has like 5 rivers (okay, 2 really and 3 creeks) and we're going to out-Austin Austin btches!!!
And is that a mini-condo tower over a 1980's resto with bad bread and French fries?

Anywhoot, Columbus has like 71 projects u/c alone in the OLD city limits (51 square miles) and I'm not even thinking about what's outerbelt, which is, ya know, alot.
These days, Columbus is just "too busy to hate."
