Lots of heavy equipment activity at the approved Ross Ventures 2 x 5 storey apartment buildings at the corner of Cliffe and Mabie (technically 547 Cliffe). There will be a total of 115 units plus underground parking.

The March PAC agenda is quite light: Just one rezoning on Alison Boulevard for a place of worship (across the street from the proposed mosque): https://www.fredericton.ca/sites/default/files/pac_march_10_agenda.pdf

Noticed that CRU A003, the former Tomavo location at the Corbett Centre has a new listing on the Centre's website called Save Way. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

https://riocan.propertycapsule.com/property/output/document/view/id:113573

Would also appear that they are taking all 9.5K sq ft

Will be interesting to see if they take the whole Le Chateau space and the space in the opposite hallway as the rumour goes. Would be an interesting layout.

Work has restarted on the commercial (I think) building in front of the new apartments on Main/Union (near Wendys). The foundation was poured early last year but construction was paused due to the costs. There's now a wooden frame going up now.

Construction of their new building on 2NC has been underway for months. Totally weatherproof since Xmas and interior framing now complete

I thought the same but seeing how the cuts have been made, I am thinking this is more for drainage now.

They are building a state-of-the-art building for their Fox Chev-Cadillac dealership. the plan is to build then tear down the existing building, and rumours are they may put another dealership on the same lot and it could be surprising enough to be Fox Subaru as they have run out of room at their current location for inventory on Bishop. My source tells me that this was one of the main reasons Fox bought the dealership from Clark's was the land the dealership sits on is by far the largest footprint around.

Funny because Subaru has basically zero inventory right now.

Would probably just be easier to move some inventory off site once supply returns to normal levels. How many identical Imprezas and Foresters do you need to keep in one place? There's also some question of whether supply will ever return to normal levels.

Steele has been rumored to be bringing "a luxury car" dealership to Freddy. The Fox move could also be anticipation of that. Always keep an eye on the competition....

Mint a company that does mostly rentals of recreational vehicles has moved into the building at the corner of king/Brunswick. They were set up in the Delta previously.

I noticed the signage today, right at the roundabout; and I didn't know who they were.

I also noticed that more site prep is happening at the Brookside/Ring Road corner, getting ready for the roundabout. Feels a bit early for that, but if the ground is soft enough now, I'm sure they're eager to get going.
