I finally made it back to Chicago for a brief visit after moving away last September. I spent this past Thursday and part of Friday wandering around the city before heading home to Northwest Ohio for Mother’s Day weekend. After taking the red-eye from SFO to ORD, I arrived Thursday morning to rain and chilly weather, but fortunately the rain & clouds cleared for blue skies & sunshine later Thursday afternoon and into Friday. I covered over 30 miles on foot (18+ miles Thursday and 12+ miles Friday) during my day and a half and snapped these photos along the way. I really enjoyed being back in my favorite American city!
