With the recent exterior fixups, Ellen Fairclough looks like it's wearing eyeliner.

I did not realize that the designers decided to place the black panels on the southwest side of the building. I do hope that those that purchase in those spots like it hot.

As far as I know they have the capability, but they charge "don't really want to do it" prices for exposed-aggregate type finishes.

Awesome stuff. Do you ever have issues with flying your drone? I'm thinking of getting one.

Not really, although i'm very cautious and follow all the rules. I studied and got the licence to fly one (fairly difficult test, but cheap, I think only 15 bucks?). Just need to be aware of your surroundings, and considerate to people.

I recommend getting one, they're fun and let you take cool shots like this.

Ya I recently came across some great videos of down online but they missed out on some better angles so I'm think of just grabbing one and doing it myself. For example getting some video from the area around Kiwi Condos looking west. I think it would be a great point of view.

The podium was doubled in height from its proposed render - cut it in half and a lot of details then match the render.

Driving eastward on Main near Mac you can now see this peeking out above Camelot Towers. The crane has for some time, but the structure of the building is visible now too.

This afternoon and evening (feat. the protest in the first pic):

Just to point out one of the things that really peeves me about this building - they didn't even try to follow the angle of the existing King Street streetscape. I added some lines that showcase the effect to the picture below:

But that would imply that one building or the other isn't level.

I think it may be more a trick of perspective in the photo... the top of the "hill" is not far west of Queen and I think the grade starts to get shallower as you approach the intersection.

Who's going to be the weird one to bring a level with them to check?
