They visit the Atlanta airport, drive by Atlanta stadium while widening the connector, and a drive through midtown right after IBM tower was built. Another at Lenox mall in 89. Yeah, he was a pioneer in vlogging, who would have thought. I met him, he was an interesting character. Unfortunately he passed away, way too early. He loved ATL though.

In one of the videos in 1989 they are driving up Peachtree street from about 7th - 12th, and they're comment on how it has changed so much that it looks like "a war has been through here."

I was just about to ask if there was a war in Midtown in the 1980's. It's shocking how Midtown looked bombed out in the photo from 1987.

I know it’s offices, but condos or MFH with similar design to the side that faces the BeltLine would go a long ways to add to our housing supply here in Atlanta.

As for the actual development, have to wonder who Portman has teed up to take the lease.

I think we will all be surprised how many parcels along the EST will be redeveloped in the next 10 years, which currently have low density development. Think ladybird, Jake’s ice cream spot, and perhaps parts of the large apartments along the corridor. This area is reaching critical mass

I believe it is also one of the highest FAR buildings built in Atlanta since the Equitable Building. I want to say it was 27.0, but don't quote me on that.
