What a dumb column. Does the author actually believe his opinions or is he simply trying to take an opposing view point?

Friendship park is the perfect location close to River Landing, Broadway and the cluster of hotels by the Bessborough while minimizing the impact on traffic flow. In addition, the park (and its grass) doesn't get used nearly as much outside of festivals as Kiwanis park so a little wear and tear won't matter as much.

The idea of any part of Saskatoon's downtown being congested is laughable. Yes, there are portions that could probably use a facelift or some public venues but unfortunately the downtown is too large to fix all at once.
