you & other forumers like chrisLA always manage to put together photo essays that make a place...in this case, LA....seem friendly & welcoming. however, even your skilled camera work couldn't have pulled that off too many yrs ago.
then there's the arts district & little tokyo....with its long awaited community gymnasium opening later this yr. I hope work will get started on the colburn school expansion before everyone is old & gray.
A lot of the centers of cities throughout the US are also getting cleaned up and becoming more competitive again....so for dtla, not a second too soon.
