And where the larger windows are placed.. all the other floors all have doors (the ones with vents/panels above the glass?) Maybe it's a combined two unit suite?

Man they really need to make up their minds on how to fix this ugly building.
I wonder if this is a mistake or what..

Could be a combined unit with a larger living room.

Nice. Though not as cozy as Solo tower 1 lobby with its massive fire place. At least not cheap looking. Sadly nobody using it because nobody move in yet.

Cold morning pushing fog over Metro Vancouver.

Beautiful Brentwood on a cold evening.

Those are incredible shots

Is that Hastings street in the background of the last photo that's all lit up? Must be the christmas lights

Thank you and good eye. They are indeed Hastings Street Christmas lights in Burnaby Heights area. I think I should go check them out.

Thanks! Last photo is very close to the focal length of a human eye and how it looks like with naked eye from our apartment. It is pretty incredible to have a view like this from your bed when holding your head on a pillow and opening your eyes. Should come as no surprise that we rarely close the curtains.

Yup hard to give up a good view. My new place looks onto the river across from Surrey Fraser docks. Its amazing what you find out about different vessels and some of the cargo they off load and load up. Google search different vessel names and everyone has a story.

On a clear night to walk down Hastings stretch with lights on is beautiful. Great little treat done up there. Love it.

I wish Vancouver would giddy up and do the same from Clark to Boundary. Or at least around Hastings Nanaimo or something.

Was on Hastings (BURNABY!) a week ago meeting a friend at a cafe and was wowed by the tree lights when I exited the cafe after dark. It was certainly a sight to behold, especially due to the length of the lighted trees along Hastings Street. Crossing back to Vancouver, this side of Hastings was rather depressing and dark. Oh well, it's Vancouver being inferior again.

Great shots!
Is that just the back corner of Triomphe catching the sun, or is it illuminated?

the city of burnaby is not doing the lights. It's paid by the local BIA (The Heights Merchants Association)

By City of Rain Dec1st.

The hoarding is down on the frontage for the Rec Room below the theatres and replaced by orange tarps.

So the fencing looks to block off access to the old mall.

Guess who funds the BIAs and provides the adequate bylaws for street decorations?

A city is made up of a collection of people living and working there. How a city is planned or, in this case, decorated reflects the mentality of its majority, or the decision makers.

When I say City of Burnaby, I also refer to its citizenry.

The businesses within the BIA area. What bylaws?

It's all I can see of its LED stripes from my angle. The sun had already set when taking those pictures during the cold nights a week ago.

Unfortunately the new LED box on the 40-floor tower in front hasn't been on for the last few weeks so didn't capture it in my photo. I am sure it will be once people move in.

I have also yet to see any light feature on top of TAB towers.
