New proposal from Tony Giarratana that's looking to replace the administrative offices for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee at 900 Church Street. Looks to be about 33 floors and over 400 feet.

It will be on a very narrow lot. And it looks like there is no parking above ground, if any.
And one more observation, it will located across the street from the AEG development, Live at Nashville Yards, which includes a 4,000 seat theater and a 21 story MGM Resorts Hotel. There will be plenty to do.
A mashup of what's underway and seriously proposed. They are not in any particular order but they are 'roughly' in scale. Too many to label and make readable.
This is what is very possibly being added to what Nashville already has.

I count seven 400ft (ish) or taller in that graphic.

This week's skyscraper as reported in the Nashville Business Journal'
This will help frame the iconic 'split' of Broadway and West End at this prominent Midtown location which serves as the gateway to Midtown.
It's not apparently very unique in its architecture, but the massing is the compelling element.
It will also add balance to the area with Broad West across the street. Now if we can just the car lots leading up to that point out of the way. At this point I'd even be okay if the car dealers did showrooms at street level with parking decks above them. That would at least eliminate the car lots at street level.
More on the 1601 Broadway Residential Tower; there is a PDF file on the City's development tracker website that has more information. It states that the images shown in the previous post are only conceptual designs. This card has the highlights including a massing diagram that is apparently the final design. There may be hope for a nice structure in this future 'times square' setting.
Several projects which may start soon (within the next three months)
ONE22ONE was supposed to start this fall. I haven't heard of any reason for delay, in fact they actually added height to the proposal to 28 stories and 420 ft. It will be the tallest spec office building to go up when started.
This was only recently revealed (a two hotel project in SoBro; 37 and 16 stories) but there were reports of core drilling equipment on the site.
These next two may be the best project to start. There are reports of much equipment on the site. It has been fenced off, and demolition is complete.
This can't begin until the eight story, Eakin Office building is complete and cars using the parking lot on the proposed building site can use the underground parking at the Eakin Bldg. The building and garage should be complete in a couple of months clearing the way for the 32 residential tower to start.
The MLS stadium should begin as soon as the Metro Council approves an amendment to the original contract. It should pass easily.
This was to start in September, but one partner backed out and another one is being recruited.
Finally, renderings for the Canopy (+Homewood Suites) have been released. Per the Nashville Post(behind firewall), the two Hilton Brands will be located in the Gulch on Division Street. It will be adjacent to the 16 story Greystar Apartment Building under construction.
This will be a nice addition to the Gulch which already has or will also have...
a Thompson Hotel,
W Hotel, (under construction)
an M-12 boutique hotel (proposed)
an upscale unbranded hotel in the Gulch Union development (proposed)
the Broadway Hotel (proposed)
and a 5 star Ritz-Carleton Edition Brand Hotel (proposed)
Looks like the One22One tower is going to get underway and the Greystar residential/hotel project are going to start soon too. Reported that they are fully financed.
And another project in the Gulch on Division announced earlier this year is going to start right across the street from the dual brand Homewood/Canopy hotel at 9th Avenue south. Just some pics
And the Morris is going to get going soon apparently.

….none of which was on my above list of impending start projects. It just goes to show, you think you've got Nashville development figured out on Tuesday, then Wednesday shows up. Thanks, Tex!
BTW, the AEG project with the MGM Hotel and the Live at Nashville performance hall is officially 'underway' per reports.
