SAN FRANCISCO's new terminal/transit center has now officially (in return for $110 million) taken the name "Salesforce Transit Center". The "poll" on the issue of building it was in 2006 when the thread began--it will open this winter. Isn't it time to change the thread title to something currently correct such as "SAN FRANCISCO | Salesforce Transit Center"
Salesforce purchases exclusive naming rights to Transbay Transit Center

San Francisco tech mammoth Salesforce is in the process of securing the naming rights of the Transbay Transit Center and City Park, the 2.5-block transit hub and raised event space. The company, who are the anchor tenants of the city’s tallest skyscraper, Salesforce Tower, agreed to a 25-year, $110 million sponsorship.
This project is a bit unusual in that foundations for a different design were previously poured in the location and are being incorporated into the new (taller) design but they are clearly now pouring new concrete.
