I would rather have four car consist and 5 minutes apart than have red line trains 3 consist and 3 minutes apart. Moving away from 3 minute separation will improve flow through the 7th ave corridor.

I'm and airplane guy. not a train guy. For all the troubles and delays getting Dreamliners on AC property, the airline got 7 450 seat 777-300ERS for cost plus a free upgrade from 788 model to 789. I hope Siemens is compensating Calgary Transit in a similar fashion.
