I have friends that have played soccer at the current Mosaic stadium and the kids soccer for at least one of the organized soccer groups have played at the current Mosaic stadium as well. It's a big event for them and the kids are super excited about it. That seems to be going the way of the dinosaur here.
We are making the stadium less flexible for other events. It means the new stadium will be less busy than the old stadium and give less back to the community. Which is pretty inflexible and not what I would have hoped for out of the stadium. That is why some people are probably irritated with it. I just think it is a fairly simple and easy decision that someone doesn't/didn't want to make.
