So as a few others mentioned the MK III is currently hidden away inside the OMC where you can't get at it with a 300mm lens so nothing at all interesting was happening other than two guys driving around in a two car MK I.
By the time I was back on a train and on my way to New West they had a few people loitering an leader truck at the refurb plant across the street and a partially restored MK I sitting on the back of the track. I went back around and by the time I was passing again they had separated a MK I at OMC, pulled half across the bridge with another train, uncoupled it and were in the process of loading it onto a flatbed.

You can also see the rather large painters tent inside the building now. The MK III is not hiding in there.
In other news, the refurb has....somehow changed the MK I's acoustics. The LIM's now make a rather distinct whine at all times that's quite loud both in the train and from a good distance. (man does it echo through the night) I can't seem to find it in recordings I made in the last few years.
