And tickets weren't $500 adjusted for inflation (My prime seats were $135 in 1995 and $189 in 2003... then $350 in 2013). The CFL has always marketed itself as the family friendly/accessible league. The way they've been pricing Grey Cups lately has been and will definitely put a dint in that concept. It really seemed to start with the 100th Grey Cup, and they just kept the elevated prices.
It might take a Grey Cup that doesn't really sell for them to realize they've gone too far. There was even grumbling in Sask about the prices for 2013... until the Riders made it... then it didn't matter, it became priceless.
