Luckily, I think with Procura being behind this proposal, there is very little chance that it is every built.

Windsor Park

Updated, reduced height, no northern terraces to improve privacy issues.

Huh?? Why? What's the crane have to do with it?? This can go in the construction sites thread. There's a bunch of things in there that don't have cranes up

About 95%. it's more or less accepted in the market that this project will be going ahead on spec. Construction is likely to start in Dec of this year.

^ That one's actually pretty beautiful! Looks to be about 130m.

Not sure about the street interface on Yonge though. So the sidewalk actually goes through the base of the building or under an overhang? Or maybe the attention to detail was lacking on that rendering.

^That's because it's aA.

Better rendering:

Coincidentally, I was in Uptown Waterloo Square yesterday and noticed the sales centre is opening soon:

Looks like a cheap interpretation of HPA's B.streets.

Every tall building along Yonge should have setbacks like this.

Updated renders and info on Calgary's Art Incubator...

https://www.saskcraftcouncil.org/cspace-projects/

http://www.o2design.com/king-edward-art-incubator/

The central area and park space is currently under construction (along with the revitalization of the 103-year old school) and will be complete next summer as cSpace, Calgary's first multi-disciplinary hub for arts collaboration and non-profits. The residential portions are currently in pre-proposal stage and will be built out as interest grows after the opening of cSpace. Many units will be offered at sub-market rental/purchase rates to artists.

Among the organizations that cSpace will house upon opening next year are Theatre Encounter, Alliance Francaise Calgary, the Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners, the Alberta Craft Council, Studio C, the Forte Musical Guild, and Alexandra Centre Writers Society.

The Forte Muscial Guild won five awards at the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival for their production Crossing Swords.

Where is that Kelowna tower going to be located at? I was in there this past weekend and was hoping that the city would embrace high-rises more so this is great news, but I cannot put that location on map.

It looks to be between Queensway and Bernard Avenue on the water side of Mill Street.
I'm using Google Earth and the rendering to give an indication of where it is. I could be wrong but the street with the median looks like Queensway in the rendering.

If you thought Yonge Street is crowded now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Plus that rendering doesn't even show Teahouse Condos which is two towers one of which is 175 meters tall right next to it (or YC Condos 194 UC across the street). So not really giving a true representation to any buyers thinking of purchasing here. Not like they would care anyways, as they would know for sure that condos are popping up and down the Yonge Street Strip.

Eventually the sidewalks on Yonge will have to be widened. It's only a matter of time now....

It should have been done a long time ago. When you look at the amount of space on Yonge dedicated to cars vs people compared to the number of people in the cars compared to on the sidewalks, it's kind of ludicrous.

8 pointy roof building next to each other is a bit much. The overkill takes away from how nice some of these buildings are as stand alones.

I love Adrian Smith / Gordon Gill's trademark rounded design and I love the pointed roof. I think it's great that they don't go for the plain glass box. The Tour des Canadiens phase II are nothing great though, but I'll take them.
